Dr. Pepper
Dr. Pepper's social media thrives on chaos, memes, and anything Gen Z. They are a relatable, eye-catching brand that isn't afraid to break the norms and take a risk.
In the age of the "male loneliness epidemic" (as well as the evidence that 1 in 4 adults in the U.S. will end up single...), I leaned on an advertisement that fits Dr. Pepper's boldness to take chances while playing on the overabundance of dating apps and single adults with a comical social media advertisement. "Commitment Issues" threads a play on Dr. Pepper's 23 unique flavors and the inability for Gen Z to, seemingly, commit to one another.
Looking at the other graphic, and currently working in Major League Volleyball, I played on a potential partnership between the MLV and Dr. Pepper. Using the "peppering" warmup that volleyball athletes do (the passing of the ball back and forth between two players) and the word "pepper" In Dr. Pepper's brand name itself.
